KIBALE NATIONAL PARK (KNP)
Kibale National Park, 766 kms, forms a joinf block with queen Elizabeth national park. Famous
for primate watching safaris and other tours.
Species. Find over 60 mammal specials, not limited to buffaloes, elephants, hippos, bushpigs,
warthogs, duikers and so much more. Over 13 species of primates, there is a very large number of
the chimpanzees. Find the red, black and white colobus monkeys, olive baboons and so much more.
The list of birds stretches to 335 species including
Nahan’s francolin, Cassin’s spinetail, blue-headed bee eater and masked apalis.
