In an effort to protect the mountain gorillas in Mgahinga and Bwindi national park, a bee-keeping project has been initiated by the International Gorilla Conservation Programme (IGCP). The major objective of coming up with a project of this nature, is to benefit all the communities in the vicinity of these two national parks in Uganda.
